1. Introduction

Do you have a drawer full of tapes from your video camera that you’d like to turn into movies you can actually watch? Or rows of VHS tapes deteriorating on your bookshelves?

If so, you’re not alone. And there’s a solution. You can turn them into DVDs.

DVD recording has become simple, fun – and affordable.

Basically, there are three steps:

1. Connect your camcorder or VCR to your DVD recorder...

...or your personal computer.

2. Edit and burn (record) your DVD.

3. Watch your finished DVD and/or share a copy with friends.

In short, the process can be as simple as connecting your VCR or camcorder and a DVD recorder, then hitting the play button on one and the record button on the other. Or you can download your tapes to a computer, edit them and turn them into family movies with titles, special effects, and even a sound track you added yourself.
